Maxfield Perish

Maxfield Perish was born in 1870 and became an American painter and illustrater most active in the first have of the twentieth century. He is known for his distinctive saturated hues and idealized neo-classical imagery.

the photo in question is a well put together picture in my opinion it seems as if though the city in the background is even floating in the sky.it also has this feeling of innocence to it.the boy in the paint also kind of reminds me of adam from the christian stories of Adam and Eve.
